Description
|
Introduction: we are developing a new product of EPDM lined fire hose. EPDM shows excellent flex stiffness, rebound resilience, low temperature resistance, chemical structure stability, ozone resistance, weather aging resistance, electric insulation resistance and chemical media resistance. However, EPDM is a non-polar compound with poor mutual and auto adhesion. Therefore, adhesion between liner and hose blank needs to be improved.
Market opportunity: EDPM lined fire hose is ozone and weather proof and there is a great market opportunity, especially in the international markets where ozone-proof is considered a required property of fire hose by many international certification authorities and foreign businesses. Once it is successfully developed and pilot produced, the product may be sold on international fire protection markets. Its annual sales and output is estimated to be 3 million meters and ￥45 million respectively.

Jiangsu Hoseking Fire Development Co., Ltd., founded in 1979, specializes in fire hose production. Its plant covers a land area of 90,000m2, with 70,000m2 floor area, is equipped with 200 units/sets of production equipments, including hose circular loom from Norway, PU hose line from Germany, and helix line from Italy, as well as 280 units/sets of testing instruments and apparatuses, and introduced another large diameter intrusion line this year.
In addition to series of general products, the company also offers fire coupling and special hoses (e.g. luminous, antistatic, flame retardant, large diameter) to suit customers’ individual needs.
