Technique for controlling external surface indentation of blank for seamless steel tube

Description
|
For blanks which are straightened by straightening machine following hot tube-making, and are then used for cold working, cooling water is applied to the overall surface of rolls which are part of the straightening machine and blanks are softly pressed by maintaining load applied to straightening rolls below 550KN to control indentation at external surface of blanks for seamless steel tube.
