Research and development of new production process for large hose wire

Description
|
Although HP wire reinforced hydraulic rubber hose is mainly used in mine hydraulic support and oilfield development, it is also suitable for engineering construction, hoisting and conveying, metallurgy and forging, mining equipment, ship, plastic injection machinery, and automatic hydraulic system for conveying oil-based and water-based liquids at a certain pressure and temperature and for hydraulic transmission. Special HP rubber hose is required for heavy-duty machinery due to huge load. Such special HP rubber hose is required to have large diameter and high resistance to pressure and impact. Wire is exactly the framework material of HP hydraulic rubber hose.
Technical challenges:
1. Large diameter and high strength of finished product requires copper coated semi-finished wire involving difficult manufacturing process.
2. Wire is required to show good torsional property, i.e. wire needs to receive special toughening treatment.
3. Wet drawing machine requires high power and elongation percentage.
4. Special control over diameter of coil is required.
To ensure high adhesive force between wire and rubber hose, and reduce plating loss caused by high compression ratio through process improvement.

Profile (existing facilities, equipment and products)

The company specializes in the production of high-tech and high value-added precision products including cut wire and steel cord. It has completed 50kt/a phase I construction, including 5kt/a cut steel and 45kt/a steel cord. Prevailing and proven equipment has been selected for the overall production process to ensure quality.
The company intends to expand its capacity to 150-200kt/a in the long run and becomes the largest steel cord manufacturer in terms of unit size.
